Who am I?
My name is Sander. I grew up in Katwijk, in a warm Protestant family. Over the course of my life, I became increasingly touched by the traditions and depth of the Catholic faith. The symbolism, the rituals, the devotion—they brought me closer to God in a way I'd never experienced before.
This webshop, Sancta Italia , was born from my desire to share that connection with others. Every item I offer here is carefully selected and handmade in Italy. Not as decoration, but as a tool for prayer, reflection, and deepening faith.
Sancta Italia is my way of passing on something of what I have received myself: silence, deepening and a path to God.
